Compliance and Ethics Policy

This Code of Conduct sets the standards for how we work at Tenglee. Everyone is expected to uphold ethical and compliant behavior in every aspect of work.

Compliance with Laws

All employees, contractors, and representatives must comply with all applicable national and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Follow all labor, shipbuilding, environmental, tax, customs, and occupational safety laws.
  • Comply with applicable international standards and conventions where relevant.

Anti-Corruption & Bribery

  • Do not give, offer, accept or request bribes, secret commissions, or improper benefits.
  • Money laundering is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not accept gifts unless they are nominal (under 100 USD/year), create no obligation, are disclosed, and professional.
  • Cash gifts or kickbacks are strictly prohibited.

Workplace Culture

  • No discrimination based on nationality, gender, religion, age, etc.
  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or humiliation.
  • Respectful communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Fair recruitment and promotion free from bias.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in every location.

Confidentiality

  • Protect all confidential, technical, and commercial information.
  • Do not share company data, contracts, or designs with unauthorized persons.
  • Use information only for legitimate business purposes.
  • Safeguard passwords and report data breaches immediately.

Company Assets

Includes shipyard machinery, tools, vehicles, IT systems, etc.

  • Handle all equipment with care for official business only.
  • No personal use without prior approval.
  • Report damage, loss, or theft immediately.

Conflict of Interests

  • Always act in the best interest of the company.
  • Avoid situations where personal/family interests conflict with duties.
  • Do not engage in external work that harms the company's reputation.
  • Report potential conflicts to management immediately.

Substance Policy

  • Zero tolerance for working under the influence.
  • Possession of illegal drugs on company property is prohibited.
  • Smoking is only allowed in designated areas during breaks.
  • Violations may lead to immediate termination.

Sexual Harassment

Zero-Tolerance Policy

  • Any unwanted conduct of a sexual nature is strictly prohibited.
  • Report incidents immediately to HR or management.
  • Reports are confidential and investigated promptly.
  • Retaliation against reporting is strictly forbidden.

Misconduct & Disciplinary Violations

The following actions are considered misconduct:

  • Theft, fraud, falsification, or misuse of funds/records.
  • Bribery, kickbacks, or unauthorized gifts.
  • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination.
  • Violence, threats, or weapons possession.
  • Unauthorized disclosure of confidential info.
  • Alcohol, drugs, or gambling on premises.
  • Insubordination or refusal to follow instructions.
  • Damage or negligence of company property.
  • Absenteeism or falsifying attendance.
  • Unsafe practices or ignoring safety rules.
  • Acts damaging the company's reputation.
* Any serious or repeated violation may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
